We’ll ask you questions about the type of riding you do, the type of riding you would like to do, and the places you would like to ride. From here we can use both our experience and insight to create something that works specifically for you. We know it can be a bit boggling researching all of the options but rest assured we’re experts in making sure we talk in a language you can understand – and if we wouldn’t ride it, we won’t sell it.

iO- A fast moving moon of Jupiter

Now in its second iteration, the NorthRoad iO is a fast, lightweight carbon road bike with fully integrated, hidden, cabling provides the perfect frame to build up for racing or just having and taking advantage of aero gains the iO offers.

A stiff but forgiving carbon layup

Stiff and forgiving? Yes! Due to the sensible layup we’ve created an oversized bottom bracket shell and robust chainstays that help provide immediate acceleration and great feedback on tracking, whilst the seatstays and comfortable clearance for 30c tyres means that you won’t be battered if you’re riding on anything other than perfect asphalt.

As aggressive as you need

We build our iOs up with plenty of stack height, so you don’t have to be a racing snake to enjoy a fast aero machine. If you would like it slammed instead, just ask. Either way, the integrated stem and handlebars are mechanic friendly and your local bike shop will be able to easily cut your steerer tube down if you ever need.

Built for Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo

A full accompaniment of ports, routing, and stops. The iO frame will gladly accommodate all road groupsets. You can choose your build from our buy it now page, you can build your dream machine, or mix and match through our custom build option.

Custom Specification

Every NorthRoad iO is a result of conversation between rider and us to work out the perfect specification for you and your riding style. We can build to a budget, we can build for a performance goal. Even things like saddles and bar tape are open conversations for the bike to be built up to suit your exact requirements.
